As a Clinical Dietitian the ideal candidate will practice as the expert in medical nutrition therapy and specialize in the nutrition care of adult patients with cancer. This position involves working collaboratively with the interdisciplinary team in the ambulatory care setting to guide and support patients' nutrition care throughout their cancer treatment. We are seeking a compassionate Registered Dietitian with at least one year of clinical experience. The ideal candidate is interested in specializing in oncology care and working with an interdisciplinary team in a fast-paced, clinical setting. The candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' nutritional status and intervening with appropriate medical nutrition therapy (MNT) and/or education to improve, maintain, or optimize nutritional status. Nutrition therapy may involve intravenous (parenteral nutrition) or tube feeding (enteral nutrition). This position requires a high level of patient centricity, team work, flexibility, and compassion. The candidate will provide nutrition therapy to support conventional cancer treatments and help optimize immune function, improve strength, increase energy, preserve lean body cell mass, rebuild body tissue, decrease risk of infection, and more.
