HEARST COMMUNICATIONS, INC.
Associate Producer, Central Video (Media)
Why Hearst Magazines?
Hearst Magazines is one of the largest publishers in the world, with more than 25 brands, including Cosmopolitan, ELLE, Esquire, Good Housekeeping, Harper's BAZAAR, Popular Mechanics, and Oprah Daily. We reach more than 150 million people every month in the United States alone.
But we're more than just our magazines. We engage our audience across all mediums and channels—print, digital, video, and social—with sophisticated content creation, distribution, and data capabilities. We create, package, and sell products with cutting-edge technology and proprietary platforms. Together, we are reinventing publishing for the 21st century.
Your impact: Hearst Magazines is hiring an Associate Video Producer to join the central video team. This person will be working closely with a team of producers to support production of high-quality video content across all of the Hearst Magazine brands, particularly in the lifestyle, fitness and health space.
The ideal candidate will be an organizational whiz with solid communication skills who excels in a fast-paced environment, and is capable of balancing multiple projects simultaneously. We are looking for an independent problem solver who is quick on their feet. Though this is a role on the video team, strong writing skills are a must.
The Associate Video Producer will be the go-to point of contact for various shoots and projects– this role will require you to collaborate with various teams across many different verticals and magazines, so the ability to quickly pivot, work well with others, and adapt to many different aesthetics and working styles will be required.
This position will report to the Executive Producer.
