SUMMARY: The position oversees all aspects of business, management, and relations among our outsourced service providers among other duties deemed necessary by management. This includes, but is not limited to, managing the operations team, assisting all other managers and Directors with their needs and duties, and to help Avenger Logistics operate more efficiently.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manage the operations team day to day business and responsibilities;
Make final decisions on carrier approvals;
Manage company's internal load board;
Establish and maintain KPI's for each respective team, including documenting various use cases for deployment of team
Monitor, mentor and enforce KPI's;
Oversee and direct the development of carrier sales process;
Assist with all managerial duties as needed, companywide;
Ensure company's policies are being upheld in regard to carriers and brokers conduct/dealings with carrier;
Collaborate directly with the executive team and continually work towards developing a better workplace and more successful business;
Consult with brokers and managers regarding carrier sales strategies;
Assists in training employees on system process and best practices as needed;
Help manage the broker floor conduct and morale;
Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma/GED required;
Bachelor's Degree preferred or 3-5 years' experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
