The Marketing Content Coordinator serves as a marketing and advertising copywriter who will write, edit, proof, review, and distribute content for all of Royal Credit Union's marketing and educational content needs across a variety of channels and formats (including print, web, video, audio, broadcast, email, digital ads, social, direct mail, and more).
The Marketing Content Coordinator will:
•Collaborate with Royal's marketing team to create compelling, data-driven marketing copy for various channels that aligns with marketing growth and retention goals and Member (customer) needs.
•Generate creative, innovative ideas for content that promote Royal's products, services, brand, and mission. Create, iterate, and adapt content for new opportunities and tactics.
•Publish and administer content using website, email, and social content management systems.
Work Schedule:
Full-Time, approximately 40 hours per week, typically Monday-Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm. This position may require occasional weekend and evening hours.
Required Skills:
• Bachelor's Degree in marketing, communications, journalism, public relations or equivalent experience
• Three to five years of experience working in Marketing, involving writing, campaigns and/or promotions.
• Experience in a professional writing capacity.
• Work efficiently under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
• Work in a fast-paced environment and produce exceptional work within short turnaround times.
• Superb writing, editing and proofreading skills.
• Communicate and live Royal's core purpose and values, which define and drive our organizational culture
Preferred Skills:
• Knowledge of online content strategy and creation
• Experience running social media campaigns on various platforms
