Hybrid Role: 2-3 days a week in office
Position Summary:
The Director, Strategic Planning Medical Affairs (MA) is accountable for leading and delivering US and global project management activities for the oncology portfolio to cross-functional teams in the successful delivery of Medical Affairs programs, projects and initiatives. This function also closely collaborates with commercial to ensure aligned global and US brand plans, as well as development to ensure medical affairs input in development plans. Responsibilities include collaboration across MA, aligning the development and proper execution of Medical Affairs plans for all products, ensure that the Medical Affairs budgets (US and Global) are developed and managed in line with organizational strategic priorities. This has to be executed with the understanding of the larger program portfolio to prioritize resource (people, money, time). Drives proactive thinking and provides insightful analytics to make recommendations to leadership. Proactively identifies and shares relevant best practices to improve project delivery and team capabilities. Identifies and actively pursues new and innovative ways to support Medical Affairs and ensure seamless implementation of this new innovation.
