The purpose of this position is to analyze low and mid-level general liability (and fleet) bodily injury claims, to ensure ongoing adjudication of claims within company standards and industry best practices, and to identify subrogation of claims and negotiate settlements.
conducing initial investigation and review of information pertaining to individual claims
initially setting reserves and ongoing review of reserves to ensure adequate monetary coverage claim
completing demand review and negotiation/settlement of claims
High School diploma or its equivalent
Two years of liability claims handling experience
Valid ALL Lines FL Adjuster License or the ability to obtain a license upon hiring
Knowledge of principals of general liability including familiarity with concepts of legal negligence and notice
Knowledge of state laws and statutes
Knowledge of medical and dental terminology

Bachelor's degree in any discipline
3 years of liability claims handling experience
Paralegal Certification
Ability to obtain reciprocal licenses for all the states that Publix does business in
