The Payroll Admin will report to the Payroll Manager in the Finance Department. This role is responsible for assisting in the bi-weekly payroll process in an efficient and accurate manner. The role will also serve as a liaison for the third-party payroll system. The ideal candidate will be a strong communicator, possess excellent organization skills, and operate accurately in a fast-paced environment. • Assist in the processing of bi-weekly payroll for approximately 1,400 employees. • Ensure that time sheets are completed and approved by supervisors prior to running payroll. • Maintain team member confidence and protect payroll operations by keeping information confidential. • Make adjustments to team members' checks as authorized by the team member or management (401k, garnishments, loans etc.). • Assist in the set-up and input new team member information into the third-party payroll system. • Serve as a liaison for the third-party payroll system by answering questions from team members and management, re-setting user passwords, and approving changes as required. • Assist in processing special payrolls as needed (i.e. bonuses) • Assist in working with Human Resources to process bulk uploads (i.e. bonuses, pay grades, merit increases) into the third-party payroll system. • Assist in paying long term and short-term disability payments to employees. • Submit payroll journal entries for storage in the accounting software system. • Create and run payroll related reports as needed. • Other duties as assigned.
