Supply Sample Processor (Finance)

Job Description:

Mars Wrigley is looking for a Supply Sample Processor at the Hackettstown, NJ location.

Required Shift *IMPORTANT*

July- September 2025

- 12 Hour rotating shift between days and nights (4 days "on" followed by 4 days off)

-Day Shift: 6:30am-7pm & Night Shift 6:30pm- 7am

September 2025 +

2-2-3 schedule night shift

Night Shift: 6:30pm- 7am

Job Purpose:

This role supports the implementation of the Chocolate MicroVerification Standard through the collection, organizing and processing of samples from environmental to WIPto Finished Product.They will train and/or perform the tasks of other associates in the area asneeded. This job requires strong communication, interpersonal and team building skills to support siteobjectives.

What are we looking for?

Minimum Requirements:

  • Must have line manager approval to apply
  • Must have met time in role
  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1+ years manufacturing experience operating a variety of machines
  • Basic Computer skills and Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel)
  • Knowledge of Food Safety and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Technical Degree or certification
  • 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing setting operating a variety of machines
  • Ability to operate a forklift/OSHA certification
  • Working with quality checks
  • Knowledge of inventory control principles
  • Experience with SAP or other warehouse management system
  • Understands production schedules, production computer systems and work instructions
  • Technical writing skills

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequent lifting/carrying (10-50 lbs) and pushing/pulling (50-300 lbs)
  • Frequent bending, stooping, twisting, handling, and gripping.
  • Ability to work at elevated heights, climb stairs, leaning over equipment and work in confined spaces.
  • Ability to stand and/or work on feet for extended periods (maximum 12 hours in one shift).
  • Ability to understand, communicate, read, and write in English.

What will be your key responsibilities?

  • Keep detailed logs and can maintain accurate records of sample collection, recording in MRSsystem, and Sample Analysis Request Form for sample submission
  • Act as a member of the Food Safety Team for designate line/area.
  • Understand the principles of the product retention library, and the maintenance of the inventory rotation.
  • Understand production schedules, production computer systems, work instructions.
  • Enter sample information into Micro Release System to ensure timely release of materials.
  • Any ad hoc requests

The base pay range for this position at commencement of employment is between the range listed below, however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.The total compensation package for this position will include variable pay, medical and dental benefits, participation in 401k plan, and paid time off benefits.Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an applicant receives an offer of employment.
