Clinical Coordinator Advisor (Finance)



POSITION SUMMARY

The Clinical Coordinator -Advisor position is an exciting opportunity for those looking to use their organizational, administrative and analytical skills to make a positive impact in the managed care arena, while expanding their knowledge of the health care industry. This position assists and supports the delivery of clinical strategy for health plan clients, and is responsible for execution of clinical excellence. Specifically, the Clinical Coordinator will

  • Work collaboratively to gather/request data
  • Provide analytical findings used in development of clinical strategy
  • Lead Clinical Issue Management/Resolution
  • Lead the implementation of new clinical solutions and support delivery on commitments
  • Assist clinicians with day to day activities needed for delivery and execution on client commitments and projects

This position allows for greater understanding, interpretation, and providing to leadership the current industry trends, and develops skill sets necessary for strategic planning, project management and consultation.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Collaborate with Clinical Account Executive(s) to positively influence client and customer results and experience
  • Support and develop reporting to monitor performance metrics, including clinical outcomes, financial trends, and rebate guarantees
  • Prepare clinical consultation materials (e.g., P&T presentations, quarterly/annual business reviews, modeling/reporting, etc.)
  • Lead the end-to-end management of clinical inquiries, data analytics, and claims research
  • Work cross-functionally with Clinical Account Executive(s) to manage risk through continuous communication and quick resolution of problems
  • Create administrative and operational efficiencies within the clinical team
  • Actively participate in formal and informal training programs and professional development activities
  • Effectively contribute to virtual teams, organizational committees, and work groups

QUALIFICATONS

  • Bachelor's degree in related field and preferably 3-5 years relevant experience
  • Client facing experience preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications
  • Motivated self-starter with proven leadership and ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to adapt in a dynamic work environment and quickly learn multiple internal reporting and analytic tools
  • Detail oriented with strong organizational and project management skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, make decisions, and resolve complex issues
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 107,000 - 178,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.

This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
