Accounts Payable Analyst (Legal)

Job Description:

Job summary:

Position works in a global financial shared services environment at Epiq and is responsible for processing accounts payable invoices and payments while ensuring that all process controls and requirements are met. This position works closely with business unit personnel across Epiq's various offices to successfully process incoming invoices and resolve any issues quickly and efficiently.   

Job responsibilities:

Coordinate and process accounts payable invoices utilizing SAP accounting software

  • Manage approvals, coding and entry of payables in adherence with Epiq's policies
  • Post invoices and process disbursements for Epiq and multiple subsidiaries
  • Process payments for Epiq and multiple subsidiaries weekly or on demand
  • Provide timely and courteous support to vendors and associates on all inquiries

Account analysis and process improvement

  • Reconciliation and analysis of A/P, Goods Receipt/Invoice Receipt and other general ledger accounts as assigned in SAP
  • Review and analysis of processing issues and end-to-end impacts to determine root cause.
  • Participate in process reviews and training initiatives with internal (Epiq employees) and external (suppliers) customers to impact change and process improvements.

Cross train on all Accounts Payable processes to always insure full department coverage.

Job requirements:

  • 3 years of related experience in accounts payable.
  • Associate degree, preferred.
