Position Title: Sr Demand Planner (6E)
Position Summary
The Sr Demand Planner is responsible to develop, evaluate, and provide accurate, complete, and meaningful forecasts and reports to support strategic sourcing and decision-making. The Sr Demand Planner works with leaders nationwide and across all lines of business to create and optimize the Demand Planning and New Contract Intake processes and tools used to forecast material and services needs to support strategic sourcing and planning. The Sr Demand Planner is responsible for the accuracy of the forecasting, including optimizing the reporting and modeling used to create the forecasts, evaluating the effectiveness of the reports, and the improvement and adjustment to meet business needs. The Sr Demand Planner is responsible for understanding and incorporating trends and enhancements across the lines of business in the models; for briefing strategic leadership teams on monthly forecasts, trends, and highlights; and in presenting the data in an easy-to-use and understand format.
