Quality Engineer (R&D)
JOB SUMMARY
Monitors the performance of customer and internal KPI. He / she champions improvements using analysis and implements corrections and improvements using quality tools such as Process mapping, SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma, Kaizens, A3s, fishbones, root cause analysis etc. The quality engineer will also develop inspection plans to assist the inspection department. The quality engineer will interface with program customers, and program focal.

Monitors and analyzes customer satisfaction KPI. Monitors and analyzes internal data such as nonconformance and corrective actions. Interface with the customer on program quality issues. Improves and problem solves using quality tools such as Process mapping, SPC, FMEA, Six Sigma, Kaizens, A3s, fishbones, root cause analysis etc. Create quality improvement plans Create inspection plans Review and approve engineering documents Review and approve purchasing and planning documents Assist with audits Participates in MRB and CCB Submits nonconformance documents to customers Identify and understand customer requirements Assist with supplier problems
GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS Education, Knowledge, and Experience
Education:
A four-year college (Bachelors degree) is required.
Experience:
Position may be filled with both entry level and experienced candidates. Microsoft office Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Access, Project etc ERP/MRP softwares CATIA
Other:
Extended or irregular hours may be required. Must be authorized to work in the United States. Employer will NOT sponsor applicants for employment visa status.
