Maintenance Technician Lead (Manufacturing)



Essential Job Functions
  • Supports facility maintenance at three plus sites to assure operational reliability
  • Troubleshoots and repairs operating equipment
  • Supports operations leaders to develop and execute continuous improvement initiatives to drive operational excellence
  • Supports and executes capital projects to enhance efficiencies, improve performance, and meet growth plans, including defining the scope of work, budget, schedule and responsibilities
  • Assures compliance with Company's EAM platform
  • Supports key stakeholders on project design and management, supplier selection and scheduling coordination, new equipment acquisition and installation, materials acquisition, audits and process changes
  • Supports site's preventative maintenance program
  • Assists with maintenance parts inventory including procurement
  • Provides guidance on training employees
  • Other duties may be assigned.

Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 6 years of relevant experience required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Technical background in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic/pneumatic, processing, blueprints
  • Knowledge of lockout tag out, all safety related issues while working on or around plant/production equipment
  • Able to use technical equipment and tools to trouble shoot many problems associated with plant equipment
  • Computer literate
  • Skills in work priorities
  • Some understanding of drawings and or procedures that have to do with maintaining equipment/ building side of plant operations
  • Must possess the ability to read, write, and speak English

Physical Requirements & Work Environment

  • Primarily works in a production and/or warehouse setting with time also spent in an office setting

The expected salary range for this position is $60,000 - $75,000 annually. This is a salaried non-exempt role, and will be eligible for overtime pay. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic term life, AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability; EAP; 401(k) retirement savings plan; PTO and paid holidays.
