Maintenance Manager (Finance)
Job Summary
Manages a combination of two or more of the following: machine shop, tool making, pipefitting, masonry, painting, electrical, carpentry or other skilled employees.
Job Duties
• Responsible for training and development of staff, including: estimating personnel needs, assigning work, meeting completion dates, interpreting and ensuring consistent application of organizational policies
• Complete all necessary documents fully and accurately
• Adhere to 5S standards (e.g., maintain cleanliness of work area, etc.)
• Follow all Safety, Environmental and Quality policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned
Experience and Education
• Knowledge of the field's policies, procedures and practices
• Lead and direct the work of other employees
• Typically have full authority for personnel decisions related to hiring, performance or disciplinary actions
• Typically require accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 7 or more years of experience
