Requires skills and experience to involve: Skills in software Midas GTS or equivalent Finite Element Method program; skills in gINT/SQL programming; skills in LPile, PYwall, APile, and FB-Multipier software; skills in Excel programming; skills in AutoCAD, MicroStation and InRoads drawing/graphic software; skills in DeepEx, ShoringSuite, SPW911 software.

Job duties : Perform site investigation and collect field soil information for structure foundation analysis and design. Perform detailed foundation analysis, slope stability analysis, calculations, and provide design recommendations. Various modeling and analysis software is utilized including the Finite Element Method (FEM) and soil-structure interaction theories. Prepare foundation related construction drawings for infrastructure projects, such as bridges, highways, water control structures. Prepare moderately complex studies, construction documents, drawings, maps, foundation engineering reports and supporting documentation. Prepare and/or assist preparing quantities and construction cost estimates for the foundation. Prepare moderately complex field data reports, including conducted field and laboratory tests, detailed procedures, results and interpretations. Assist senior project manager and senior engineers for schedule and budget control of the project. Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate document or drawing preparation. Responsible for document preparation for regulatory agencies to obtain required permits. Maintain technical knowledge through completion of various training initiatives; attending seminars, reviewing professional publications, attending in- house systems/management training. Conduct site visit per request during construction stage of the project, reporting findings to engineers that are more experienced and/or project managers and other duties as assigned. Develop gINT software reports using gINT/SQL programming languages. Develop Excel workbooks to perform calculations.
