This position is remote.
Position Responsibilities:
Build/Lead a small team of Business Development Reps (BDRs) tasked with generating qualified leads and opportunities for the field sales organization
Meet or exceed key metrics assigned to the BDR Team, which include # of qualified appointments and opportunities and pipeline contribution.
Develop and participate in all aspects of BDR training and become internal subject matter expert on all applicable sales training and tools
Intensive, hands-on coaching that includes listening to live and recorded calls as well as modeling key behaviors
Monitor daily productivity and ensure BDRs are meeting call activity goals and utilizing the Salesforce and SalesLoft CRMs to their fullest capabilities
Collaborate with marketing on new campaigns, programs and messaging strategies designed to generate qualified leads
Proactively recommend lead generation campaigns to marketing
Team with field sales leaders to ensure effective “hand-off” of all leads to field reps
Oversee resource planning, reporting, incentives, and communications for the assigned team
Generate/communicate status reports on all leads given to BDR team
Ongoing performance management of each team member and ongoing recruitment of new team members
Experience / Skills :
Bachelor's degree
Experience with prospecting new business, lead generation or lead qualification (business-to-business preferred)
7-10 years of overall sales or sales leadership experience
Healthcare industry experience (preferred)
Knowledge of direct marketing and databases used in direct marketing
Entrepreneurial attitude—willingness to take initiative
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Strong leadership competencies specific to:
Creating positive work environment
Providing effective feedback
Building trust with direct reports as well as other internal constituents
Being a role model
Hands-on experience with CRM systems (Saleforce and SalesLoft preferred) and MS Office
Strong analytical and organizational skills
