Histology Technician (Healthcare)
1.0 FTE, 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday 6:00AM – 2:30PM. Rotating on-call for weekends and holidays. Hours may vary depending on the needs of the laboratory at time of hire.

Play an integral role in a patient's diagnosis at UW Health. You'll help bridge the gap between a tissue sample being taken and a diagnosis being made by a pathologist.
We are seeking a Histology Technician – Surgical Pathology to:
Minimum – Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology OR Education and training equivalent to an associate degree to include:
• Education: 60 semester hours including either 24 semester hours of medical laboratory technology courses or 24 semester hours of science courses
Preferred – Bachelor's degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or chemical, physical, or biological science
Preferred – Previous laboratory experience
Licenses and Certifications:
Preferred – Histotechnician/Histotechnologist (American Society for Clinical Pathology) or equivalent
