Advanced Software Engineer - Java Full Stack (Finance)



Join Honeywell's Life Sciences team as an Advanced Software Engineer, where you'll help build the next generation of cloud-based quality management solutions on the TrackWise Digital platform. In this role, you'll develop full-stack Java applications and contribute to cutting-edge AI features powered by Python and AWS Bedrock.

You will report directly to our Engineering Manager and you'll work out of our Hamilton, NJ location on a Hybrid work schedule.

You'll be part of a highly collaborative team that embraces agile best practices-working together closely to solve problems, ship high-quality code, and continuously learn from one another.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain full-stack software solutions using Java, Python, and React, with a focus on scalability, security, and performance.
  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and quality engineers to define and implement features that drive value for end users.
  • Leverage AWS Bedrock to integrate generative AI capabilities into the platform, such as intelligent automation, recommendations, or natural language processing features.
  • Build and maintain seamless integrations with Salesforce to support core quality management workflows and data exchange.
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code; contribute to unit, integration, and regression testing strategies.
  • Participate in design and code reviews, providing guidance and feedback to peers to maintain high engineering standards.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and reliability in production environments.
