Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Quality Engineer located in Milpitas, CA.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, the Quality Engineer will be responsible for maintaining quality engineering programs, standards, and improvements within the organization.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Analyzes reports and returned products and recommends corrective action. Establishes program to evaluate precision and accuracy of production equipment and testing, measurement and analytical equipment and facilities. Approves product, process and equipment qualifications Provides liaison to various regulatory bodies
  • Initiates and facilitates 8D corrective action requests as needed and tracks to satisfactory completion.
  • Develops and maintains PFMEAs and Control Plans
  • Reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
  • Communicate with managers and employees of the organizations.
  • Advanced operations, technical and people and/or process skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Quality Engineering within a high-volume manufacturing environment.
  • A demonstrated working in QA Systems and standards.
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing batch records.
  • Experienced in corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) and writing validation reports (IQ/OQ/PQ).
  • Represent the organization to customers on quality issues, handle and resolve customer complaints and SCARs.
  • Troubleshooting, diagnostics, and the ability to train others.
  • SMT and optical experience is a plus
  • Excel: reports, data analytics.
  • Solid knowledge of GD&T, PFMEA and Control Plans.
