Accounting Technician - YMCA Association (Administrative)
The Accounting Technicianis responsible for closing of the books each month for both the Treasure Valley and the Wood River Associations. This includes posting of activity into SGA from Core, UKG, ADP, Raiser's Edge and other systems. Additional tasks include reconciliations of bank accounts and preparation and entry of journal entries.
Responsibilities:
Coordinates all postings into SGA, including from Core, Raisers Edge, and Circuitree, downloaded transactions, and journal entries. For Wood River, coordinates all postings into SGA, including from Daxko and ADP.Understands and performs the monthly financial statement closeout process. Performs journal vouchers to record financial assistance. Understands and tracks receivables, prepaid expenses, accrued expenses, and deferred revenue monthly. Compiles and sends out invoices for reimbursed services.Understands Core and performs monthly tasks to keep the financial data accurate. Includes tracking receivables and overpayments (Currently we not have a process in place).For Wood River, understands Daxko.Reconciles all bank accounts monthly. Tracks branch deposits, credit card revenue, and electronic credits and withdrawals. Works with auditors annually to support balances.
Qualifications:
3 years minimum experience in similar position. Intermediate word processing skills and excel (filtering, sorting, find and select, text to column, insert hyperlinks). Prefer experience with database management and excel. Background must include strong skills in interpersonal relations/human relations skills, and customer service.Demonstrated skills in time management, flexibility, organization and independent work proficiency.Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.Must be able to maintain confidentiality.

Schedule:
This is a full time position, 40 hours weekly, Monday through Friday, 7am - 6pm. There is flexibility on start and end times and potential to work overtime and remotely.
