Medical Coding Specialist I/II - Remote (Healthcare)
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time, 1.0 FTE position that is 100% remote. Applicants hired into this position can work from most states. This will be discussed during the interview process.

We are seeking a Medical Coding Specialist I/II to:
Education:
Minimum – High School diploma or equivalent and a graduate of or currently enrolled in a Medical Coding Program.
Preferred – High School diploma or equivalent and Medical Coding Education.
Work Experience:
Preferred – One-year direct coding experience.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum – Certification as Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), Certified Coding Specialist Physician-Based (CCS-P), or a Certified Coding Associate (CCA) within one year of hire.
Preferred – Certification as Certified Professional Coder (CPC), Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT), Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA), Certified Outpatient Coder (COC), Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC), Certified Coding Specialist (CCS), or Certified Coding Specialist Physician-Based (CCS-P), or a Certified Coding Associate (CCA).
