Travel Coordinator (Finance)
Tetra Tech is adding a Travel Coordinator to our Logistics team based in Maitland, Florida in a Hybrid capacity. This is a Project-based position.

Your Role:
Tetra Tech's Disaster and Emergency Management operating unit is currently hiring for a Travel Coordinator. This position is an in-office position based out of our Orlando and Maitland office locations. The selected candidate is responsible for supporting and coordinating all travel needs for our department, as well as any cost reconciliation that may follow.
• Coordinating all travel plans and records for field staff (airfare, lodging, and vehicle rental).
• Maintaining relationships with travel vendors/merchants.
• Provide travel assistance when necessary to traveling staff.
• Manual data entry of all airfares, lodging, and rental assignments.
• Effectively communicating with travel vendors, supervisors, and employees.
• QC, allocate, and reconcile all travel related charges to appropriate projects.
• Attentiveness to active billing cycles with vendors and accounting deadlines.
• Perform routine checks of ongoing travel reservations.
• Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
• Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
• Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.
• Additional duties as required.
Qualifications:
• Logistics experience preferred.
• Be detail oriented
• Be organized and have good time management skills
• Be able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Can communicate effectively at all levels verbal and written
• Be comfortable with doing extensive research for travel solutions
• Be able to work extensive hours sometimes on short notice, including weekends, to support emergency response operations.
• Be able to follow protocol and suggest process improvements where appropriate
• Maintain a positive attitude and be willing to learn
• Have a problem solving mindset.
• Be comfortable asking questions when something is unclear
