BIM Technician, Planning (Engineering)
The purpose of this position is to assist with the operation of a building information modeling (BIM) system and peripheral equipment to convert designs into working documents.

Working Environment and Conditions
The incumbent spends approximately 90% of his/her time developing and maintaining business contacts within the organization. He/she will also spend approximately 10% of his/her time developing and maintaining business contacts outside of the organization.
This position occupies a general office environment. Exposure to weather elements is not likely. Incumbents will not drive a vehicle in the course of performing their job responsibilities. Incumbents spend approximately 30% sitting, 40% standing, and 30% walking in the course of performing their job responsibilities and are unlikely to handle materials weighing more than 30 pounds without mechanical assistance. Incumbents will use the following office equipment in the course of performing their duties: phone, computer, copier, fax machine.
