IT Business Analyst, Irvine, CA - Hybrid 3 days in the office.

This opportunity as an IT Business Analyst will have you working with the global business processes in executing application solutions, workflows, and data. You will shape, execute, and deliver highly innovative/novel solutions to create new strategic differentiation and competitive advantage. Your strong Business Analyst expertise and technical knowledge will help deliver Ingram Micro's Global Network and Voice Initiatives: architecture, integration, metrics, and improving business processes. You will play a significant role in planning and implementing solutions that are global, integrated, scalable, and flexible and follows industry best practices to improve in house capabilities.
Your Role:
The IT Business Analyst (BA) will assist the Global Network and Voice teams in the management of both application and infrastructure project work by facilitating communication with the business unit/customer, project team, and other stakeholders as necessary related to requirements and proposed solution for the project. The BA will elicit business requirements (features & user stories) for assigned project requests, and assist in analysis around our roles and responsibilities, and leveraging that analysis to showcase our value proposition to the rest of the organization. The BA will ask business stakeholders probing questions and communicate that information to the development team to ensure they understand the requested work. The BA is expected to understand the business processes and to use that knowledge to make recommendations for business process improvements as well as improve the value to our internal and external workforce.
The IT Business Analyst will be the primary interface between various business units (or business partners) and the GIO teams. They will be responsible for facilitating, prioritizing, and communicating functional and technical requirements to GIO teams and business stakeholders. This position must have a thorough understanding of the technology and multi-practice disciplines associated with customer development projects, a working comprehension of the technical components of a global IT environment, knowledge of tools, and vendors in the marketplace that provide key functionality to similar environments.
The IT Business Analyst is required to coordinate the necessary activities in all areas of Networking and Voice, as applicable for the successful completion of the assigned initiatives. Management skills include proficient communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of internal and client organizations (customers and vendors) to ensure project success, have a demonstrated ability to weigh alternatives, determine strategy, and experience in leading teams. Must possess thorough knowledge of all related business areas and how they interact. They may have staff responsibilities, limited to the tasks associated with the current project.
