Recruiting Coordinator (Human Resources)



Job Summary: 

We are looking for a talented Recruiting Coordinator to join our team and participate in the hiring process from beginning to end. You will be responsible for assisting the recruitment team in attracting candidates, evaluating resumes, scheduling, and conducting interviews, and managing the hiring paperwork. This position facilitates the end-to-end hiring process. We are looking for someone who knows HR and recruiting best practices, has innovative ideas, and is creative. You must have strong communication skills, excellent attention to detail, strong ability to multitask, and have the ability to manage projects promptly. This role will consult with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives

Job Responsibilities:  

  • Consulting with managers to discover staff requirements and specific job objectives  
  • Writing and posting job descriptions on career websites, newspapers, and universities boards  
  • Work with various social media platforms: Indeed, Facebook, LinkedIn  
  • Creating sponsored job campaign (campaigns get funneled into ATS- job posting placed directly on indeed do not go to the ATS)    
  • Relay information when managers request a sponsored ad to increase their candidate flow and ad position.    
  • Work with HR Assistant, Manager, Recruiters, Payroll, and other departments.  
  • Source candidates by using databases and social media  
  • Evaluate and screen resumes and cover letters  
  • Conduct phone, video, and/or in-person interviews  
  • Provide a shortlist of qualified candidates to hiring managers  
  • Help the hiring team with recruiting methods and interview questions  
  • Contact new employees and prepare onboarding sessions  
  • Prepare new hire paperwork ensuring legislation requirements are met  
  • Maintain a complete record of interviews and new hires  
  • Stay up to date with current recruiting methods  
  • Attend job fairs and careers events 
  • Research, review and analyze potential software platforms 
  • Research market data regarding pay, supply and demand, etc. for low candidate flow areas
  • Run reports for tracking of team's key performance indicators
  • Submit registration requests for various job fair events and track the registration status leading up to the event date
  • Track progress of department projects and initiatives
  • Facilitate project meetings and take notes to summarize key takeaways 
  • Provide input and creative ideas to department projects – partnering with other teams such as HR, Marketing, etc.
