Social Media Specialist (Media)

We are seeking a Social Media Specialist that thrives on building relationships and communities online. A self-motivated, detail-oriented, quick thinking problem solver, this person is flexible, patient, and comfortable interacting with physicians (members and non-members) patients, and the media both on social media and in person.

Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and create social media content across the ACR social media channels (presently LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, and Facebook)
  • Collaborate with the Creative team and Sr. Marketing Managers to create compelling graphics and short videos for social media
  • Assist with continuous monitoring of social media channels and relevant hashtags for comments, questions, and engagement opportunities
  • Convene subject matter experts (staff and member volunteers) to respond to social media inquiries clearly and efficiently
  • Provide monthly and quarterly reporting for internal clients and leadership on social media key performance indicators including but not limited to engagement rate, engagement volume, click-through rates, and following; and support the Manager and Director, Digital Media in creating a data-driven content strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Manager and Director, Digital Media to develop innovative solutions to optimize and grow social media engagement and identify new social media platforms and trends

 

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree, with a Marketing, Communications, Digital Media or Public Relations major
  • 3-5 years of relevant marketing and/or communications experience, MUST include social media responsibilities
  • Experience with social media platforms including LinkedIn, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and Sprout Social. Additional platforms required
  • Must be detail-oriented and organized
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Creative, idea generator, and 'in the know' regarding online/social media trends
  • Comfortable in reporting data analytics to a non-marketing audience
  • Ability to manage and lightly edit video content for ACR YouTube channel a plus.
  • Experience with paid social media, including Facebook Business Manager, Instagram for Business and Google Ads a plus

This position will work on a Remote Primary basis.  Remote workers must be self-motivated, possess excellent time management, and be highly organized.  Reliable internet connection is a must!

ACR is committed to a total rewards compensation philosophy that includes base salary in addition to our full suite of comprehensive benefits (https://www.acr.org/-/media/ACR/NOINDEX/HR/ACR-Benefits-Overview.pdf).  ACR's goal is to pay competitively and equitably.  It is typical for individuals to be hired in the entry to middle of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on each case's circumstances.  A reasonable estimate of the range is $67,550 – $90,050.
