Your Impact:

PGIM Real Estate's Originations team engages in all aspects of the loan origination process. As a Vice President, Originations, you would be directly responsible for sourcing and originating commercial real estate debt investments for various capital sources. The debt platform includes core, core plus, high yield and agency.  The position will require developing relationships with prospective borrowers and intermediaries while maintaining and building enduring relationships with existing clients. The expectation is that this person will assume direct originations responsibilities upon joining. We seek demonstrated experience successfully originating and negotiating loans as evidenced by a strong track record of closed loans over the past several years.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Responsible for engaging in all aspects of the loan origination process, including analysis and underwriting, debt structuring, pricing strategy, presentations to senior management, due diligence review, transaction negotiation and closing.
  • Responsible for sourcing and originating commercial real estate debt investments for Prudential's wide variety of capital sources. Managing all aspects of the loan origination process, including presentations to senior management, debt structuring, pricing strategy, transaction negotiation and closing, and due diligence review.
  • Developing relationships with prospective borrowers and intermediaries while maintaining and building enduring relationships with existing clients.
     

Your Required Skills:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience in commercial real estate lending required.
  • Debt originator experience preferred with capabilities across the debt capital stack
  • MBA from a top program preferred.
  • Concentration, major or focus in finance and/or real estate a plus.
  • Experience in core plus or high-yield debt strongly preferred.
  • Strong quantitative skills and demonstrated analytical ability.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Outstanding written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and as an integral member of a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) strongly preferred.
