Digital Strategist, KSTU (Finance)



Are you a digital marketing expert who thrives on helping businesses achieve measurable results through innovative campaigns? Join KSTU in Salt Lake City as our Digital Strategist where you'll partner with our sales team to develop custom digital solutions that drive revenue growth for our clients. In this client-facing role, you'll leverage your product expertise and strategic thinking to create winning campaigns across display, video, OTT/CTV, email marketing and more.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Provide guidance and product training for our digital solutions including Local Display/Video, Targeted Network Display/Pre-roll, OTT/CTV solutions, email and contesting
  • Make joint sales calls with Account Executives to consistently achieve digital market revenue goals by increasing digital campaigns with new and existing clients
  • Develop campaign strategies, create compelling presentations, establish KPIs, provide pacing updates, assist in closing sales, and recommend optimizations and upsells
  • Conduct one-on-one meetings with account executives to review campaign performance and spending
  • Monitor competitive landscape, market trends and industries to identify new opportunities
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU'LL NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent experience
  • 3-5 years sales experience, closing business and managing clients
  • Experience in a sales leadership, advisory, or supervisory capacity preferred
  • Experience creating and successfully executing multi-faceted digital campaigns
  • Driving required. Valid Driver's License, good driving record, and ability to provide proof of insurance with the company required insurance limits

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Working knowledge of Google Analytics, AdWords, DFP, Facebook Audience Insights
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Demonstrated record of success in a goal-oriented, highly accountable sales environment
  • Proven prospecting and closing capabilities
  • Full understanding of digital product portfolios
  • Ability to craft solutions quickly based on needs assessment
  • Excellent presentation, public speaking, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to develop campaigns, communicate effectiveness and make recommendations
  • Strong capability to analyze sales demographics to develop creative solutions
  • Proficiency in generating reports, business correspondence, and delivering presentations
  • Strong communication skills and ability to respond effectively to questions
  • Ability to calculate figures related to advertising rates, discounts, packages and commissions
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace and CRM software like WideOrbit
