Clinical Manager -Counseling Enriched Classroom program (Finance)
Job Summary:
The Clinical Manager directs the delivery of effective high-quality services of one or more residential programs serving youth with intellectual or developmental disabilities and/or co-occurring mental health conditions. Duties include direct clinical supervision and oversight of service planning and delivery, program and resource development and management, personnel management including hiring, evaluation, coaching, and training. The Clinical Manager provides leadership congruent with applicable regulation as well as agency policy, values, and mission; provides management reports as required; and leads significant program committees or improvement efforts. The Clinical Manager represents the agency and program with funders, governmental agencies, and community providers. Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required
1. M.A. or M.S.W. Degree.
2. Current CA Board of Behavioral Services (BBS) license as a LCSW/MFT clinician for two (2) years, or able to meet this and other BBS supervisor requirements within six (6) months, if supervising staff who are accruing hours toward licensure from the BBS.
3. Must be certified to conduct a CANS/ANSA assessment within 90 days of employment.
4. Demonstrated cultural responsiveness in working with diverse families and communities.
5. Demonstrated ability in using a strength-based, culturally responsive
approach to supervision, participant and community service.
6. Experience in and demonstrated ability in behavioral, crisis management and family/individual/group therapy skills.
7. Demonstrated ability to utilize de-escalation techniques that align with the trauma informed care model as part of intervention strategy for working with participants in crisis who are responding to triggers/stressors and/or demonstrating early indicators of distress.
8. Clean driving record: current CA Driver's License or ability to obtain within 10 days after hire.
9. Basic computer and keyboarding competence with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
10. Access to dependable transportation available and personal car insurance.

The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet and, at all times is maintained within safe California Division of Occupational Safety and Health (CAL/OSHA) standards.

2. Must be able to hear, understand and distinguish speech and/or other sounds (i.e., alarms, etc.).
Physical Activities
1. Must be computer proficient and be able to work on a computer for up to 20 hours per week.
2. Must have visual acuity to view a computer terminal; to perform activities such as preparing reports, analyzing data; and to determine accuracy, neatness and thoroughness of work assigned.

4. Must be able to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including the use of a computer keyboard. Must be able to handle or manipulate objects, tools, and operate controls.
5. Must be able to reach for stacked products, store and retrieve file boxes
6. Must be able to push, pull, lift and/or carry as much as 10 lbs.
7. Must be able to move in and out of offices, participant's homes or other community settings, and on the Coolidge Campus.
8. Must be licensed and have the ability and skill to drive a vehicle.
9. Must be able to drive locally 20% of the workday.
10. If working with participants:
a. Must be able to physically monitor youths to ensure they do not hurt themselves or others.
b. The job has potential for injury or harm, and the ability to assess and avoid threats posed by participants and the community is necessary to maintain safety
