Welcome to Medtronic, a global leader in medical technology, services, and solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced electrophysiology enthusiast to join our team. This is a great opportunity to lead the global launch of exciting new products. The Sr. ManagerThis position will be very visible to the organization and play a critical role in driving a successful launch that has high impact to the business.

The key responsibilities include setting the global launch plan as part of our global activities around Affera primarily, collaborating with cross functional team on product delivery, and working with regional teams on launch executions. A successful candidate is passionate in learning new technologies with both upstream and downstream product marketing experience and acts boldly and fast to drive outcomes.

A Day in the Life:

  • Provide support to set the overall global product launch strategy
  • Work globally and with the regions to drive acceptance of our technologies
  • Lead efforts related to preparing the regions for technology launches and launch execution.
  • Collaborates effectively with regional commercial teams worldwide to drive executions.
  • Create detailed launch plan and define key launch tactics and activities.
  • Collaborate with product development team to address issues to ensure on time product launch.
  • Perform business analysis and build demand forecast in coordination with key regions and work with supply partners to ensure product supply.
  • Performs competitive analysis and develop relevant product value proposition.
  • Formulate clinical claims in accordance to evidence generation strategy to support the product value proposition.
  • Formulate pipeline recommendations and priorities while leading strategy and business plans including support to all business development related opportunities. Build brand, and launch assets, and communicate the product message thru omni-channels.
  • Develops close KOLs relationships and engage and collect feedback from key customers through focused activities such as Voice of Customers and Advisory Board.
  • Analyze competitors and ensure competitive strategies are in place for new and existing products
  • Collaborate with Global Education, R&D, Program Management, Regional Marketing (US and OUS), Clinical and New Business Development for strategic plan formulation and execution as needed
  • Provide periodic update to senior leadership on launch update.
  • Be part of core teams when relevant to represent marketing.

Must Have:

  • A minimum of a bachelor's degree is required; an MBA or related master's degree is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of overall business experience is required. OR, an advanced degree and 3 years.
  • A minimum of 3 years of marketing (include both upstream and commercial marketing), R&D, sales, clinical or medical affairs experience is required.
  • Previous experience in global product launch and understands the regional differences.
  • Previous experience in the electrophysiology industry is essential.
  • Deliver product training at global launch training programs and ensure product knowledge is effectively transferred to commercial regional groups and field organizations.

Nice to Have:

  • The ability to learn complex technology/clinical applications is required.
  • Strong presentation and customer relations skills are required.
  • The ability to build rapport and connections with cross functional and global commercial organizations is essential.
  • Communication, relationship-building, and project management skills are critical.

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$123,200.00 - $184,800.00

This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).

The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance , Health Savings Account , Healthcare Flexible Spending Account , Life insurance, Long-term disability leave , Dependent daycare spending account , Tuition assistance/reimbursement , and Simple Steps (global well-being program).

The following benefits and additional compensation are available to all regular employees: Incentive plans, 401(k) plan plus employer contribution and match , Short-term disability , Paid time off , Paid holidays , Employee Stock Purchase Plan , Employee Assistance Program , Non-qualified Retirement Plan Supplement (subject to IRS earning minimums) , and Capital Accumulation Plan (available to Vice Presidents and above, or subject to IRS earning minimums).

Regular employees are those who are not temporary, such as interns. Temporary employees are eligible for paid sick time, as required under applicable state law, and the Employee Stock Purchase Plan. Please note some of the above benefits may not apply to workers in Puerto Rico.
