Systems & Process Manager (Finance)
Job Purpose/Overview
The Systems & Process Manager role is responsible for leading agility and continuous improvement of Mar's signature tools (PPM - Project Portfolio Management) and processes (QuEST/QES - Quality Efficiency Speed Transparency/Quality Efficiency Sustainability). This role will become the Functional Expert in the North America Region and supports the PPM/Quest and QES Cross-Region team. Additional responsibilities will include implementation and training of new PPM regional/global deployments, process adherence, compliance, governance, performance and metric reporting and analytics, and development and education of Key Users/cross-functional stakeholder. The role will work closely with the other Functional Expert in shared areas of compliance reporting, systems continuous improvement, and training.
Key Responsibilities
o Lead Petcare North American governance and continuous improvement of QuEST/QES process and PPM or related systems, in partnership with cross-functionals, Global teams, and the Senior Leadership team.
o Develop and deploy best in class function-specific training materials for QuEST/QES for standard refresher, onboarding trainings and new deployments.
o Partner to drive process excellence - working alongside leaders to drive execution, facilitating governance, and communication processes where necessary.
o Lead role in audit readiness and compliance regarding QuEST/QES process, standard, and governance adherence.
o Partner (regional & global) to develop and implement prioritized PPM systems continuous improvement roadmap.
o Key contributor to the Global standards, segment-wide process and system enhancements, as well as
driving forward the best in class data submissions for North America.
o Owner of PPM/Quest and QES Reporting and Analytics dashboards, including ad hoc requests, data
maintenance and continuous improvement
Job Specifications/Qualifications
Education & Professional
Qualifications • 5 years of business experience that interfaces with project management (preferably in CPG industry) •Knowledge / Experience • Experience across multiple business functions desired, particularly R&D, Supply Chain, or Commercial • Strong computer knowledge with expertise in Excel • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Must be able to influence and motivate at all levels within the business to achieve objectives. • Strong analytical capabilities coupled with the ability to identify issues, obtain mutual agreement as to the resolution, and implement change. • High degree of self-direction with the ability to constantly seek innovative ways to perform tasks in an efficient and timely manner • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written • Undergraduate degree in Business or related field. Preferred experience in delivering automation and efficiency through reporting.
