Job Description:
This Client Services Training Specialist role will specialize as the Learning Management System administrator and is responsible for the on-going delivery and tracking of department-focused training for new and existing Client Services staff. The incumbent will work closely with management to understand training delivery, evaluation, and tracking expectations. The Training Specialist will work closely with content authors and course instructors to ensure content, courses, and programming in the Learning Management System are loaded and configure properly. The Training Development Specialist must excel at producing highly detailed and accurate process documentation and training materials that are relevant, easily understandable and interpretable to all target audience.
Responsibilities
Manage all LMS administrative functions from basic settings and branding to the available catalogs, tags, and skills.
Own the process for user management and access control to the LMS.
Supervise the contract, purchase order process, and performance of the LMS.
Manage asset library and determine organizational architecture as informed by the LMS.
Analyze training delivery and tracking needs and recommend action based on available tools.
Adjust project components to meet changes in priorities, needs, and other business conditions.
Create training curriculum, technical procedures, and user materials including: SOPs, user guides, job aids, and assessments such as activities and testing.
Adhere to quality standards and best practices for developing instructional materials.
Generate reports and statistics to quantify results of training initiatives.
Manage scheduling and logistics for training sessions.
Requirements
Masters Degree or equivalent experience.
Minimum 3 years of experience in a Project Management and/or training capacity.
Ability to learn proprietary systems and deliver content confidently and professionally to various audiences.
Ability to navigate through ambiguity by effectively and accurately shifting priorities and tasks as needed to meet business needs.
Professional, effective public speaking skills.
Ability to understand and restate technical concepts, logic and procedures in a clear, simple and meaningfully way.
Ability to interpret business needs and adjust projects, tasks and deliverables accordingly.
Proven and successful history writing technical/application training/user guides and other documentation.
Must be a dynamic, charismatic, proactive, highly motivated self-starter with a high level of personal accountability.
Must be able to collaborate with own team as well as other subject matter experts to create deliverables.
Ability to understand and tailor content to learner requirements and modalities.
Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; able to adjust for intended audience.
Demonstrated ability to create and maintain cooperative professional relationships.
Microsoft Office suite, including Visio and PowerPoint.
