Integration Analyst (Finance)



In this role, you will drive the ongoing data maintenance and technical consultation needs within Equifax's proprietary technology asset PayNet, which includes advising, consulting, and monitoring teams with database processing interruptions and oversight of appropriate fixes within commercial spaces

What you'll do

  • Leads complex research projects to address internal and external technology inquiries.
  • Serves as technology and data SME on PayNet capabilities and manage PayNet data files and relationships (Commercial)
  • Partner with analytics to understand and recommend to management the need for desired commercial data fill rates.
  • Builds metrics reports.
  • Partner with customer, sales, and programmers to implement and maintain customer solutions for data reporting.
  • Identify and manage customer expectations.
  • Perform research and analysis to correct data files as requested by customers or sales.
  • Provide consultation and support to customers, sales, and other teams on highly technical and complex data issues.
  • Daily monitoring, review and release of customer reporting submissions.
  • Serves as back up to Front Line Manager
  • Supports Data Furnisher Service Analysts to test and resolve programming issues in PayNet
  • Conduct training/overview sessions as needed for Data Furnisher Services teams as well as other Equifax groups

What experience you need
  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related IT field and five to seven years of related technology experience (compliance/banking/credit/IT)
  • Strong understanding of compliance regulations in commercial space
  • Proficient and demonstrated ability to learn and use database applications and general Microsoft Office applications
  • Working knowledge of SFTP protocols/procedures
  • Ability to perform systematic and logical analysis of customer data
  • Ability to generate specialized queries in the BigQuery system to assist with research and analysis
  • Technical support and coordination between Operations and Technology groups for large projects
  • Extensive knowledge of Perl, Unix, and SQL scripting for data queries
  • Extensive knowledge of the Commercial Risk Database environment and global business rules
  • Provide feedback to internal and external customers on data quality and reporting expectations
  • Requires advance knowledge and experience in own discipline, while seeking opportunities to advance knowledge and skills to improve process and solutions
