Sr Database Administrator III
Responsibilities
Administer and support MS SQL Server database servers in a global data center environment. Provide prompt 7X24 on-call DBA support for mission-critical applications.
Install MS SQL Server and modify the configuration to support new project deployments, MS SQL Server upgrades and data migrations from legacy to newer versions.
Provide troubleshooting analysis and technical guidance to application teams during high severity outage calls.
Perform capacity management at all levels of database hardware infrastructure (CPU, Disk I/O, Memory, Network, etc...)
Document standards and best practices for all aspects of SQL Server. Work with various offshore and onsite support vendors as appropriate.
