Lab Technician (Healthcare)

Position success criteria:
Perform preparation and cleaning tasks efficiently. Operate cannabis extraction equipment safely. Able to produce commercial quantities of product. Acts safely and professionally in the lab setting. Follows good manufacturing practice standards. Punctual and exhibits a outstandingly positive attitude.

Cannabis extraction using hydrocarbons
Perform the following types of cannabis oil extractions:Work in hazardous environments and conditions
supercritical fluid extractionclosed loop extractionsimple distillationshort path distillationwiped film distillationfractional distillationsolventless cannabis extractionethanol extraction

Hazardous material handling experience
Display proficiency when safely handling hazardous materials such as:

Responsibilities
Preparing equipment and plant materials for extractionOperating highly sophisticated extraction equipmentProcessing concentrates and extractsCleaning and maintenance of extraction equipment and laboratory facilityMaintaining strict inventory records of all plant materials, chemicals and equipment used in the laboratoryOperating, maintaining, and making adjustments and repairs to laboratory equipmentWashing and sterilizing laboratory glassware.Performing clerical work related to laboratory activities such as word record keeping
