Sr. HR Business Partner (Finance)



We are seeking a highly experienced and independent Senior HR Business Partner to support our dynamic technology and sales teams in Boise, Idaho. This role requires a deep understanding of HR principles and practices, with the ability to operate autonomously and proactively identify solutions to complex business challenges. The ideal candidate will possess a high level of consultative skills, be adept at change management, and demonstrate a high degree of comfort navigating a matrix organization and complex organizational structures. You will serve as a trusted advisor to leadership and employees.

This position is based out of our downtown Boise office and will be onsite Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

What you will do

  • Apply in-depth HR knowledge to guide and consult with senior and executive leaders
  • Operate independently to identify opportunities and apply effective HR solutions to complex business problems
  • Coordinate and advise on the execution of defined HR programs and projects, including but not limited to merit, performance, and talent review processes
  • Partner and effectively engage with stakeholders to implement HR programs, sometimes developing internal procedures to execute those programs based on the specific environment and available resources
  • Interpret business strategy and provide guidance on change management, organization design, workforce planning, and succession planning
  • Execute the human capital implications of organizational design projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues and conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
  • Improve business outcomes through talent optimization and coaching managers to drive greater productivity and higher engagement
  • Work closely with leadership and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention of key employees

What experience you need
  • 7+ years of Human Resources experience within a complex organization
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
  • Strong working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines including organizational design, employee relations, performance management and compensation
  • HR experience supporting multiple functional areas within the business - product, technology, marketing, sales, etc.
  • Successful history supporting multi-location and/or remote teams
  • Experience supporting senior level leaders (VP+)
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills: friendly, tactful, good negotiator, ability to influence others, manage conflict and ability to exercise judgment
  • Ability to manage multiple conflicting priorities
  • Ability to develop, attract and assess talent
