Software Engineer - eviCore (Information Technology)

The PC/LAN Tech Associate (Technical Customer Support Associate Analyst) will be responsible for focusing on providing thought leadership within Information Management but working on broader projects, which require an understanding of wider business. Recognized internally as a subject matter expert.

Responsibilities

  • Defining standards and best practices around Azure services.
  • Defining policies to control azure resource creation in lower environments.
  • Setting up performance logs on azure services.
  • Proactively monitoring and troubleshooting performance issues in lakehouse and supporting services.
  • Collaborating with development, support, and strategy teams in road mapping sessions.
  • Working on making the azure services resilient.
  • Implementing DR around azure services.
  • Optimizing ADF workflows.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 3+ years experience with Azure preferred.
  • 8+ years experience working in IT.
  • Experience with Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Azure Synapse, Role-based access control (RBAC), Azure Active Directory, and Azure data factory.
  • Demonstrated experience with Disaster Recovery, Azure Cost Management, Azure Key vault, and Azure Site Recovery.
  • Experience with scripting protocols such as PowerShell, Azure CLI's, and ARM templates.
  • Experience with all types of IT projects including migrating on-prem infrastructure to Azure -Environments (including IaaS and PaaS) and the associated storage, network, and security considerations.
  • Experience with identifying and taking initiative to implement improvement opportunities.
  • Experience with an insatiable appetite for learning, continuously pursuing new learning that adds value to the team's knowledge base.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
