Sr Product Analyst (Finance)
About:
The Sr. Product Analyst supports the Product Owners accountable for implementing the process and technology initiatives of the Client Implementation Management team, as well as the successful execution of the resulting projects that deliver the business value. The Sr. Product Analyst supports refinement activities within a product team, specifically defining and writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and user interface design for platform and product enhancements; activities to include obtaining acceptance and alignment from stakeholders for the recommended enhancements, documenting requirements along with prioritization, user acceptance testing, and working with technology teams to deliver enhancements that generate business value. The Sr. Product Analyst is responsible for ensuring the solution effectively addresses business needs while maintaining technical integrity. They are also responsible to measure business value delivered through efficiencies gained, risks reduced, or other benefits delivered.
Job Summary:
Collects data and conducts analyses to support work that helps provide business insight to enable strategic business decisions. Gathers and organizes product/services data, user stories, and features to support prioritization of product backlog; analyzes collected information to inform the development of enablement tools/tactics. May provide guidance to user on optimizing their use of enablement platforms and tools.
Responsibilities:
Solutions Delivery—Supports refinement activities within a product team, specifically defining and writing user stories, acceptance criteria, and user interface design for platform and product enhancements; activities to include obtaining acceptance and alignment from stakeholders for the recommended enhancements, documenting requirements along with prioritization, user acceptance testing, and working with technology teams to deliver enhancements that generate business value.
Business Analytics—Provides consultative support to product owners and other stakeholders as it relates to existing and potentially new deliverables to enhance client experiences. Shares findings and provides business insight to product owners as needed. Works closely with platform analysts to interpret data and uses insight to inform necessary changes
Achieves Business Results — Ensures products meet and/or exceed standards for business performance, client satisfaction, compliance, and operational efficiency by closely monitoring, analyzing, and interpreting the metrics to assess the performance of products against key performance indicators (such as sales, new accounts, lead and referral generation, etc.). Develops and implements strategies and tactics to meet the desired business objectives for assigned product.
Product Release Coordination —Plans with other key team roles as well as product owners who are part of other teams, if necessary, to ensure a strategic, complementary release schedule. The Sr. Product Analyst also helps to identify necessary operational changes stemming from a release and is co-responsible for defining reusable solutions/shared components.
Qualifications: -Bachelor's degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND -5+ years of total relevant work experience
