Support Associate, Tasting Room (Agriculture)

Job Description

Position Summary

A Support Staff team member is in charge of maintaining Booker/My Favorite Neighbor standards of organization, tidiness and cleanliness in customer facing operations and back of house operations.

Responsibilities

• Clearing tables
• Resetting tables for service
• Polishing glasses
• Providing water service
• Answering and managing tasting room calls
• Assisting guests in creating and managing reservations
• Managing current and future reservations
• Greeting and seating guests
• Providing water service
• Stocking wine/non wine inventory
• Communication with servers/bussers/hosts
• Maintaining cleanliness and tidiness of facilities
• In-depth knowledge of experiences, club, and current information of BKR/MFN

Minimum Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs (a case of wine)
• Must be able to work in a team
• Must be able to multitask
• Must be able to work weekends and holidays
• Must be friendly and approachable
• Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong organization and problem-solving abilities
• Capabilities to be flexible and manage constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
• Commitment to high standards, detail oriented, coachable and highly motivated
• Wine experience or industry related interest is a plus

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

• Must be able to lift 50lbs or a case of wine
