If you are a Supply Chain & Logistics professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based in our Sturtevant, WI location, you will facilitate and maintain the data collection, analysis, and reporting of all operational performance metrics within the warehousing and distribution operation. You will communicate opportunities for improvement to management based on statistical analysis to help advocate and drive continuous improvement.
AS A LOGISTICS OPERATION ANALYST, YOU WILL:
Update Requested Delivery Service Level (RDSL) daily metric, Monthly Plan to Action metric, and Internal Shipped vs. Not Shipped metric; research and Identify reasons for late shipments.
Develop and maintain warehouse operation performance metrics.
Maintain order allocation priority lists and release orders based on the date these are sent and the SKU identified.
Release Amazon, Grainger, and Interline orders as inventory becomes available and provide to Load Planner to schedule.
Monitor Whirlpool portal and create POs based on firm requisitions and provide to customer service to create orders.
Monitor and review warehouse replenishment Min/Max Quantities; work with warehouse team to identify needs to adjust replenishment quantities.
Work with warehouse team to identify and execute locator changes; i.e. activating and de-activating locators as needed.
Book cross-dock and manual shipments in Supply Chain Optimization (SCO) Corporate Logistics Portal.
Investigate inventory discrepancies and advise ways to improve inventory processes.
Assist with writing, organizing, and updating work instructions for warehousing/shipping operations.
WHO YOU ARE:
You utilize analytical tools to help explore potential scenarios. You learn to streamline processes and cut out redundancy. You focus and monitor both formal and informal progress regularly.
REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
High School Degree or Equivalent and minimum one year of experience in a supply chain/warehousing/shipping environment OR Bachelor's Degree in Business Management, Supply Chain Management or related field required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated ability/experience with Microsoft Office 365 tools (Excel, Power Point, etc.) and OneDrive/cloud file management.
Ability to work and organize multiple tasks in a fast-paced warehouse environment
Demonstrated teamwork abilities; ability to interact with people across various business functions

PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
AAS degree with an emphasis on supply chain and/or business management
Experience with working in Oracle
