Wildlife Biologist (Engineering)

Job Summary:
Develop, conduct, maintain and advance a comprehensive integrated ecosystem management program for the conservation of fish, plant and wildlife species.
Implement a rare, threatened, and endangered management program for plant and animal species under protected status.
Maintain and execute requirements of the integrated natural resource management plan.
Participate in development of conservation plans and habitat management plans.
Support prescribed burn program.
Engage with federal and state agencies in ecosystem management processes to include issuing biological opinion reports.
Support efforts by public and private entities such as Universities performing natural resource research studies.
Minimum Qualifications:
This role may require that company vehicles are driven.
Bachelor's Degree in Biology, Ecology or related discipline
Possess 5 or more years' experience in biology field.
A strong background in leading/facilitating natural resources conservation planning processes.
Experience in developing Integrated Natural Resources Management Plans (INRMP)
Experience implementing restoration projects.
Experience working with state and federal agencies (e.g., USFWS, FL Division of Natural Resources) and major regulatory frameworks (e.g., NEPA, ESA)
