Product Manager Mid and Low Segment (Marketing)

Summary: Develop and implement the Stago System Solution marketing strategy focused on low and mid market segment instrumentation and related digital services with consideration of current and future market drivers, new product development and product lifecycle to achieve DSI and corporate goals.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Manage the 4 P's of Marketing (Product, Price, Place, Promotion) as well as product lifecycle for assigned products.
  • Develop and implement market penetration and retention strategies and programs for systems in the low and mid segment, establishing Stago as a market leader. Consideration includes digital tools that will drive efficiency and Lean Six Sigma workflow services across all segments.
  • Develop a knowledge base to be an industry authority within Stago, maintaining a deep understanding of new technologies, trends, and innovative solutions being implemented across the industry and maintains a current competitive product information database (ex. Prolifiq), all used to develop and execute a strategy to support corporate growth goals.
  • Develop business cases. Identify and assess opportunities to grow market share with existing or potential new products; develop and implement marketing programs to achieve revenue and market share goals.
  • Prepare comprehensive launch packages for new products coordinating the necessary activities with Sales, Supply Chain, Market Access, Global Marketing and other functional areas.
  • Act as primary resource and company expert for systems within scope of responsibility. Launch and implement marketing strategy.
  • Build relationships and partner with internal (business partners, peers) and external stakeholders (key industry players, agencies and vendors).
  • Manage all projects within budget and deliver on time.
  • Engage with customers, industry leaders, and interdepartmental teams to intimately understand and adapt our culture and continually validate our system and services strategies for the low and mid segments.
  • Engage customers in clinical studies for white paper publication in US hospitals and laboratories as opportunities to demonstrate and validate value present.
  • Act as key interface with global marketing representing the North American market and customers in development and strategic planning projects.

Education & Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in related field from four-year college or university required, plus 4 to 6 years related experience; medical technologist background a plus and advanced degree preferred.
  • Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time. Must be able to travel internationally.

Skills:

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Contact Management systems; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  •  Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
  • Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standard
