Clinical Manager (Finance)
Leadership and Supervision: 1) Recruits, hires and provides leadership to assigned team. 2) Implements program development. 3) Ensures program participants receive quality services. 4) Co-facilitates trainings and outreach with program staff in the community as needed.
5) Supervises Clinicians (licensed and registered). 6) Provides one hour of formal clinical supervision weekly in addition to informal supervision and consultation as needed to direct clinical supervisors. 7) Employs strength-based supervision. 8) Facilitates weekly staff meetings to discuss cases and maintain fidelity to evidence-based practices being employed.
Training: 1) 1) Provides training to staff. 2) Facilitates weekly staff meeting and develops and presents in clinical trainings. 3) Coordinates initial and ongoing trainings in evidence-based practices and ensures competence and compliance of staff to techniques being used.
Direct Services: 1) Provides direct services to clients as needed. 2) Utilizes de-escalation techniques that align with the trauma informed care model as part of intervention strategy for working with participants in crisis who are responding, including but not limited to : attentiveness to potential triggers/stressors and/or demonstrating early indicators of distress; motivational interviewing; reflective listening; providing responses that rely on engagement and empathy; modeling composure through use of calm voice and neutral facial expressions; remaining self-aware of verbal and non-verbal communication, demonstrated ability to adjust verbal and non-verbal communication, prompting for use of known coping skills; etc., to defuse distress and ensure safety in a manner that aligns with the trauma informed care model. 3) Provides psychoeducation and support groups for participant parents and caregivers.
Professional Development: 1) Participates in weekly supervision and group supervision meetings as assigned. 2) Maintains current license or waivered status with the BBS. 3) Participates in trainings and provides training as assigned.
Professional Conduct: 1) Maintains excellent professional boundaries and adheres to all professional ethical standards including abuse reporting, maintenance of participant confidentiality and FFYC. 2) Adheres to all agency and program policies including Boundary Code of Ethics, Core Competencies, Code of Conduct, Employee Handbook and state and federal regulations.
Other Duties: 1) Serves as back-up support to the Senior Director, other FFYC program directors, program managers and clinical supervisors. 2) Completes routine management reports and data on program activities and outcomes as assigned. 3) Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required
M.A. or M.S.W. or L.C.S.W. or M.F.T. Degree and two years post-licensure experience.
Current CA Board of Behavioral Services (BBS) license as a LCSW/MFT clinician for two (2) years, or able to meet this and other BBS supervisor requirements within six (6) months, if supervising staff who are accruing hours toward licensure from the BBS.
Two (2) years of supervisory/management experience in a clinical setting.
Must be certified to conduct a CANS/ANSA assessment within 90 days of employment if the work assignment is in a County program that requires CANS/ANSA certification.
Demonstrated cultural responsiveness in working with diverse families and communities.
Demonstrated understanding of the developmental milestones of children, youth, or young adults to provide to provide care, treatment and services.
Demonstrated ability in using a strength-based, culturally competent approach to supervision, participant and community service.
Demonstrated ability to utilize de-escalation techniques that align with the trauma informed care model as part of intervention strategy for working with participants in crisis who are responding to triggers/stressors and/or demonstrating early indicators of distress.
Clean driving record; current CA Driver's License or ability to obtain within 10 days after hire.
Basic computer and keyboarding competence with the ability to use Microsoft Office Suite.
Access to dependable transportation available and personal car insurance.
Preferred
Five (5) years of experience in a wraparound, community based, residential day treatment or another milieu program.
Fluency in prevailing language(s) of community.

Must be able to reach for stacked products, store and retrieve file boxes on high shelves.
Must be licensed and have the ability and skill to drive cars, vans, or other vehicles.
