Interface Analyst - Remote (Biotech)



Purpose:

This position will work independently and as part of a software implementation team, you will deliver high-quality software implementations to meet client expectations, while understanding the impacts of the software and its customizations; you work directly with clients through email and phone communications; and you will be expected to stay on top of changing technology regarding newly developed Clinisys software and supported third-party software.

 Essential Functions: 

  • Installs and configures software solutions at customer sites remotely, ensuring that projects are properly implemented per Clinisys best practices.
  • Work with sites to complete necessary specifications and ensure that projects stay within scope.
  • Analyze and understand urgent or critical problems, escalating to peers and/or management as necessary.
  • Perform testing on implementations and other solutions developed.
  • Organizes and prioritizes project tasks to ensure timely completion of projects assigned.
  • Research relevant client issues and document all findings when implementing solutions.
  • Establish all technical project requirements and maintain effective professional relationships with all clients and organize all project materials.
  • Guides the client in their decision making to achieve maximum efficiency using Clinisys software solutions.
  • Acts as a mentor or technical resource for Clinisys products.
  • Research client technical issues and escalate to development team as appropriate.
  • Manage client expectations and provide them with consistent clear updates.
  • Provide clients with system explanations as appropriate.
  • Document issues, prioritize, and resolve issues during implementations.
  • Adherence to Clinisys Security policy and HIPAA rules for the safe guarding of personal health information as applicable.
  • Provides periodic status updates to the management team on project status, roadblocks, and solutions.
  • Maintain a high level of commitment to superior customer satisfaction through the entire project.
  • Completes other projects as assigned.
  • The person in this role may be asked to work additional hours in order to support off hours go lives.

  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects
  • Support of software implementation project plan, hours tracking, and project line closures per Clinisys instructions.
  • Creation and maintenance of system documentation and checklists.

 

Required Experience & Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare Information Technology or equivalent experience.
  • One or more years' related experience required
  • Two years' experience with relational databases and Transaction-SQL, Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (Data Platform preferred)
  • Previous client support/service experience
  • Experience with software programming
  • Knowledge of Team Foundation Services or similar code source control software
  • Knowledge of IIS.

 

Preferred Experience & Education 

  • Experience in a healthcare related industry preferred
  • Crystal Reports experience preferred
  • HL7 interface familiarity preferred in order to program HL7 inbound and outbound interfaces using software tools and SQL

 

 Physical Requirements

  • Work is performed in a normal office setting with minimal exposure to health or safety hazards. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Travel may be required.
  • Moderate lifting/carrying 15-44 lbs.; use of fingers; walking/standing 2-6 hours
  • Travel to client sites that can pose risks associated with healthcare organization.
  • May be required to follow customer location health and safety requirements

The starting pay range for a candidate selected for this position is generally within the range of $84,400 to $118,200 for annual base salary. The successful candidate's actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay may be above or below this range
