The Team

Join our team as a talented senior developer (front end or full stack) responsible for developing, implementing, and supporting world-class software. Your software will operate in all facets of A&M Tax: from internal tools that improve efficiency to client-facing enterprise systems that compete at the world level.

This position will participate in all aspects of the software development lifecycle: documentation, development, testing, debugging, and support.

Responsibilities

  • Work with lead developers and architects to understand and implement solutions to challenging business problems.
  • Contribute to the development of clean architecture with an emphasis on reusable components.
  • Responding to escalated support issues.
  • Build efficient and maintainable code.
  • Test your work to ensure high standards of quality.
  • Mentor junior developers.

Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, data analytics, management of information systems, or information technology and accounting
    AND/OR A master's degree in a related field.
  • A human-centered approach to application design
  • 4 to 7 years of experience working with
    • HTML, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript
    • React
    • Web API Integration and development (C#)
    • Mocking tools like InVision or Figma
    • Backend technologies in the Microsoft Stack (C#, MSSQL) are a plus
  • A natural flair for problem solving and an entrepreneurial approach to work
  • A strong interest in technology and its use in business processes
  • Ability to learn and apply new technologies
  • Excellent communication and business writing skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Tax knowledge and related experience is a plus.
  • Partnership tiering and allocation, Asset Wealth Management, or Private Equity is a plus

Provided the eligibility requirements are met, employees will also receive an annual discretionary contribution to their 401(k) retirement savings plan from Alvarez & Marsal. Additionally, employees are eligible for paid time off including vacation, personal days, seventy-two (72) hours of sick time (prorated for part time employees), ten federal holidays, one floating holiday, and parental leave. The salary range is $85,000 - $105,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on a number of factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
