Customer Deployment Project Manager (Finance)



For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $96,000 - $120,000 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date), opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.

Position Summary

The Customer Deployment Project Manager is responsible for developing and assisting in the deployment of product-based projects and plans and working cross functionally across the company to monitor , facilitate and deliver on project plans .

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure Sales and Application Engineering define and communicate detailed customer requirements for project (technology, timelines, features, operating parameters, etc.)
  • Create a sense of customer partnership by serving as the liaison between Motivair and the customer during the deployment.
  • Responsible for overall customer satisfaction, contractual obligation execution, timelines, budgets, risk mitigation and communication.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to facilitate communication and address project-related challenges. (Weekly production meetings are held with all cross functional teams)
  • Lead cross - functional internal team to take the project from Sales proposal through deployment using project delivery processes.
  • Evaluate project outcomes, gather feedback, and implement improvements for future projects.
  • Develop project plans, outlining scope, objectives , timelines, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams, ensuring clear understanding of project goals and expectations. Teams include Sales, Engineering, P roduction , and S upply C hain M anagement.
  • Ensure design requirements, schedules and costs are confirmed with Product Development and Service Engineering
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting a culture of accountability and excellence.
  • Lead Multiple Projects simultaneously ranging in value of $ 2 00K to $100M +
  • Pre-Execution Planning including Quote Reviews and Proposal Input
  • Post-Execution/Acceptance activity as needed for Customer Interface and Satisfaction
  • Continuous Improvement efforts for Process Improvements and Waste Reduction
  • Understand all processes well enough to be an independent decision maker , assimilate new information , and communicate decisions/direction/recommendations to the customer and M otivair management with a high level of autonomy

Position Qualifications
  • Bachelor's D egree in P roject M anagement , Business Administration, or related field , required .
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional work experience, preferably in project management , required .
  • Background in datacenter infrastructure or HVAC, preferred
  • PMP or other relevant certifications , preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Proven experience as a Project Manager, demonstrating successful project completion.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills .
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Knowledge of industry best practices and project management methodologies.

Physical Requirements /Abilities (If necessary)

  • Majority of the work time is conducted in an office or meeting setting.
  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Light lifting, standing and limited physical activity.
  • Regular walking, typing, reading, and talking is required .
  • Up to 20% business travel, local and international.
