Who You Are:
Amoskeag Health is seeking an Operations Manager to serve as second-in-command to the Director of Operations. You are an experienced healthcare operations professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can balance strategic direction with day-to-day management, and lead teams across multiple departments to ensure smooth, patient-centered service delivery.

What Youll Do:

Directly supervise supervisors and leads across Facilities, Scheduling, Prescription Refills, Medical Records, Call Center, and Medical Interpretation.

Lead daily huddles, manage escalations, and resolve workflow roadblocks.

Monitor and analyze department KPIs (e.g., call wait times, refill turnaround, scheduling accuracy, interpreter utilization).

Develop and implement standardized operating procedures across supported departments.

Coordinate with IT, Clinical Operations, and Quality teams on initiatives affecting patient access and service delivery.

Act as project manager for operational improvements (e.g., scheduling templates, EHR changes, facility upgrades).

Support performance management through coaching, documentation, and staff development.

Serve as point of contact and decision-maker in the absence of the Director of Operations.

Respond to after-hours alarms and emergencies, with occasional on-site presence required.
