What you will do

As a Vice President - Systems Analyst Developer for PGIM Quantitative Solutions, you will work closely with business sponsors, product owners, business analysts, developers, and other technology leaders to analyze, design and maintain large-scale business applications.

Through your excellent relationship management skills, you will ascertain business needs and priorities, understand requirements and constraints, and then apply your extensive business and technical knowledge to implement solutions for those business problems.

As a technical expert, you will bring exceptional problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills, along with agile work methodologies and extensive technical implementation capabilities to deliver end solutions.

What you can expect

• Partner with senior technology leaders, product owners, and business analysts to prioritize, manage and implement business initiatives across various PQS functions.
• Collaborate effectively in an Agile and iterative work environment.
• Groom Epics and Stories to capture business needs in a manner that can be performed within Agile Frameworks
• Hands-on coding in different technologies such as .NET (C#, WCF, MVC), Salesforce, SQL, JavaScript, JSON, REACT, REST API, Python, Docker, and AWS environment.
• Develop test plans, scenarios, and scripts, as well as perform quality assurance testing and assist in user acceptance testing.
• Facilitate Release Management of the end product.
• Support the production group by monitoring open issues, identifying and implementing timely solutions; this includes off hours support on a rotational basis.
• As needed, perform thorough research on emerging technologies and produce compelling POCs to demonstrate their feasibility.

What you will bring

• A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Engineering, or a related field is required.
• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in managing information systems.
• Candidate must have a well-documented track record of accomplishments as a leader in Information Technology.
• Strong knowledge of Financial industry and market, specifically equity and derivatives products, trade lifecycle, basic accounting, and post-trade processing.
• Having excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think quickly and offer alternatives independently and within teams.
• Previous experience in Agile Methodologies, writing stories, product grooming, participating / facilitating in various Scrum ceremonies, stand-ups, retrospectives, sprint planning, agile mentality etc.
• Hands-on development experience in UI development and batch processes using different technologies, including but not limited to .NET (C#, MVC, WCF), SQL (Oracle, MS SQL), JavaScript, JSON, Salesforce (SOQL, APEX, Visual Force Pages, Lightning Components).
• Knowledge of Microsoft Patterns and Best Practices.
• Experience with Microsoft DevOps and Jira SDLC tools.
• Experience working with different client reporting tools, including but not limited to Vermillion, Seismic, and SSRS.
• Experience using, configuring & developing in the Salesforce.com platform.
• Creative problem solver with an ability to identify process improvement opportunities.

What will set you apart

• Experience with AWS, Python, PostG, REACT, REST API and containerization platforms (i.e. Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience developing solutions in BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Experience using different Financial packages like FactSet, Bloomberg, and S&P.
• Prior knowledge or proficiency with LVTS, Eagle Star/Pace, Electra.

Note

Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations. The salary range for this role is from $150,000 to $185,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills. Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits. Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
