Energy Assistance Program Data Entry (Finance)

QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum
Education equal to high school diploma or GED
1-3 years of experience in computer operation
Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
Knowledge of filing and other standard general office procedures
Ability to follow oral and written directions
Ability to work with the public
Ability to accurately type 45 wpm
Proof of valid driver's license and current/adequate vehicle insurance coverage
Preferred
General knowledge of the Energy Assistance program
Demonstrated understanding of diverse backgrounds and cultures
REPORTING TO THIS POSITION ARE:
None
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Receive phone calls for the Energy Assistance Program, and route them to the appropriate EAP staff member.
Input data onto software tracking system and eHeat.
Maintain accurate, well-documented, complete records and files.
Minutes taken at staff meetings.
Perform clerical duties to support the Energy Assistance and Weatherization programs.
Perform record keeping functions.
Inform immediate supervisor of all unusual matters of significance so that prompt corrective action can be taken where appropriate.
Process purchase orders and reconcile invoices with vendors.
Maintain EAP application process.
Provide information to families and make appropriate referrals.
Keep immediate supervisor informed of all problems, unusual or extraordinary matters of significance coming to his/her attention, so that prompt corrective action can be taken as needed
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
