SEO Specialist (Marketing)



Overview:
 

ECI Software Solutions is looking for an experienced SEO specialist to focus on organic growth that results in increased traffic and higher organic rankings.  This position will drive SEO across multiple SAAS products collaborating with internal team members to build high engaging content for new prospects.


The SEO specialist will report to the Head of Digital Marketing and will drive SEO efforts on various websites utilizing tools to establish a result-driven strategy. 


The SEO Specialist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day success across five internal divisions. This position will be responsible for developing recommendations, executing work, monitoring progress, measuring results, and managing both on-page and off-page SEO strategies. This may include research, technical SEO, content strategy, conversion optimization, or a combination of approaches. SEO Specialists serve as the primary day-to-day contact for the content team and are often required to engage demand-gen managers directly.

The SEO Specialist should be passionate about search and how this channel can help drive company goals. They are expected to monitor the changing landscape and will have up-to-date knowledge of the space.


This position will be located in our Fort Worth, TX office (hybrid role) or can be remote for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform granular traffic and conversion analyses across multiple global markets to gain insight into keyword and landing page performance.
  • Use web analytics data from several sources (Google Analytics, CrazyEgg) to evaluate traffic building initiatives' effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvements in content, user experience, and conversion.
  • Knowledge of various technologies and web design principles and their effect on SEO.
  • Deep understanding of keyword difficulty and relevance, as well as link popularity and its SEO relevance.
  • Identify new SEO growth opportunities by conducting in-depth keyword and competitor research, technical audits, and on-page analysis.
  • Experience implementing content-focused and technical SEO tactics independently or by working with developers.
  • Report on current performance and make recommendations for optimization including but not limited to impressions, clicks, conversions, organic vs paid traffic, and channel performance. Track and report on these metrics bi-weekly.
  • Collaborate with our team of Editors and Writers by providing keyword informed content calendars.
  • Increase efficiency across marketing – measure what we do, present readouts on key metrics (campaign activity) with goal of helping the Demand Generation team learn and get better at digital marketing and SEO.
  • Create and manage Google Data Studio reports for KPI reporting and ad hoc reports for marketing managers.
  • Collaborate with Head of Digital to develop process documentation around key marketing operational areas, share and train global teams on processes including new acquisitions.
  • Drive overall marketing funnel efficiency by testing, measuring, evaluating, and implementing.

 

Knowledge/Skills

  • 3+ years of experience managing SEO efforts for sites that drive organic sessions.
  • Ability to monitor, trac, and report on SEO results.
  • Deep knowledge of Technical SEO, On-Page Optimization, Content Marketing, and Backlink Acquisition.
  • Experience with international SEO and multi-language sites a plus.
  • Experience using the following tools: Ahrefs, SEMRush, MOZ, Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Google Tag Manager.
  • Strong understanding of consumer decision journeys and life-stage marketing.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with internal and client content, product, and development teams.
  • Ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
